The Standards, Criteria, and Integrity Governing Every SWAPNA'Z Certificate of Proficiency 

SWAPNA'Z, certification is not a reward for attendance. It is a verified declaration of clinical competency — awarded only when a candidate has demonstrated the knowledge, applied skill, and professional conduct the institution requires. 

The Certification Policy of SWAPNA'Z Aesthetic Sciences governs the framework under which the institution awards its Certificates of Proficiency — the credential that formally recognises a candidate's attainment of defined clinical and academic competency standards across a SWAPNA'Z programme or specialist module.

SWAPNA'Z operates an exclusively competency-based certification model. This is a deliberate and principled institutional position. In a field where credentials are frequently issued on the basis of course completion alone, SWAPNA'Z has made the institutional commitment that its certificates will mean something more — that they will represent demonstrated ability, not documented presence. Every Certificate of Proficiency issued under the SWAPNA'Z name is a statement that the candidate who holds it has been assessed, has met the standard, and has earned the credential through performance rather than participation.

Eligibility for certification requires the satisfactory completion of all programme components — theoretical, practical, and clinical — to defined performance thresholds. A minimum attainment of 85% across all sessions is required, and clinical reasoning components. Professional conduct throughout the programme period is also assessed as part of the overall certification determination. A candidate who has met every academic requirement but has engaged in conduct inconsistent with the institution's professional standards may have their certification eligibility reviewed.

Assessment at SWAPNA'Z is conducted against fixed competency rubrics, not relative to peer performance. Candidates who do not meet the required threshold in a specific component are provided with structured supplementary assessment opportunities before a final certification determination is made. The institution's approach is to support candidates toward the standard — but never to lower the standard to accommodate the candidate.

Certificates of Proficiency are issued in digital format as primary, with physical certificates available on formal request. Each certificate carries a unique institutional reference number and is recorded permanently in the SWAPNA'Z certificate registry, enabling third-party verification by employers, regulatory bodies, or professional associations. Certified candidates may represent their SWAPNA'Z credentials professionally, within the accurate scope of the programme completed.

The integrity of the SWAPNA'Z certification is the institution's responsibility and its commitment. Certificates may be revoked in cases where post-award investigation establishes academic dishonesty, fraudulent enrolment, or material misrepresentation of the credential in professional or public contexts. This policy is reviewed annually and applies to all candidates enrolled at the time of its current version.
